Professional Tree Climbing
Pruning a tree by using a professional tree climber and an ISA Certified Arborist is healthier for our trees, and creates a safer situation for people. A climber can access parts of the tree that a bucket truck or man-lift cannot. A climber can access the inner branches that open up a tree to sunlight and air movement. Bucket trucks will often leave a “lion-tail” look by taking off all the foliage of the tree that they can reach with their truck. This leaves a tree long/lengthy and top-heavy. These trees are hazardous and will break in our Colorado snow-loads and wind-loads.
Professional tree climbing is the best way to access the full canopy of your tree. We service the trees in all of Salida and Buena Vista.
Some dead trees in the forest are great wildlife trees, others are hazardous trees and will need to be removed.
All of our climbers use state of the art techniques and are fully trained in proper pruning cuts and rigging techniques.
